The Sprocket Man has had the honour of supplying the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup with trophies for the Fort William round of the series since 2009.  All have contained locally sourced materials and recycled bike parts.

More than any other design, the World Cup thistle illustrates that fantastic things can be made from recycled materials.  Each and every winner's thistle is a one off.  The components chosen  and the way in which individual elements are crafted are unique to each separate item.

These awards also prove that the Sprocketman can deliver the highest standards to world class events.

On this page, the images show some of the design variations applied.  Mouseover the pics to see details.

In addition to the Fort William round of the UCI Mountainbike World Cup, the Sprocket Man has supplied awards for many other high profile and world class clients.  Importantly, return business lets you know that they were happy with the service and product. These include the Deutsche MTB Bundesliga,  Specialized, Whyte, Merida, The Rocky Mountain Bicycle Show,  Blenheim Palace, HM Armed Forces, Red Bull and many more.

The creativity and workmanship which goes into your trophies is exactly the same as applied in commissions for these clients.  Whether the item is for a world champion or a weekend warrior the Sprocket Man is basically a cyclist making awards for cyclists.  Once upon a time, he was a competitor who received some pretty disappointing trophies.  The memory of that provides the spur to make sure your trophies reflect the effort you and your winners put into the event.  That's how it will always be.
