These are the awards designed and built for the cyclocross race organised by the club as part of the SCX series.

Shown here in cold cast iron they've also been produced in bronze.

The jockey wheel detail at the base is also in cold cast iron.  All mouldings are mounted on custom cut slate backs that are supported by a stand made from a recycled spoke and spoke nipple.

This one is for the club hill climb champion.

You can get an idea of the size by taking into account that it's built using a 52 tooth vintage chainwheel.

As can be seen it's a free standing assembly.
This trophy is for the Wallace Warriors which is the youth development branch of the club.

The trophy is 40cm tall and designed to be wall hung.

As well as the SBC and award classification mouldings, a bas releif of an adapted "Wallace Sword" is used.   It's just like the one hanging at the Wallace Memorial and reputedly owned by William Wallace...except this one has a sprocket detail on the pommel and guard which are allied to a tyre tread grip.

The Sprocket Man can do stuff like this for your club.  Drop him a line.

The Sprocketman.com supports the Warriors by providing trophies free of charge.
If your club or event fancies awards that stand out from the usual fare, please feel free to contact me by telephone or e-mail.
